2017 Player of the Year: Peter Brookshaw
Prescott junior infielder Peter Brookshaw has been selected as the 2017 Wisconsin Baseball Central Player of the Year.
Imagine this: You're playing a baseball video game, but don't really want much of a challenge. You turn the difficulty down to its lowest possible setting and go to town on your helpless opponent. That's probably what it felt like to be Brookshaw this spring. He batted .583 with 22 doubles, a triple, two home runs, 38 RBIs and 16 stolen bases. 42 percent of his hits were for extra bases this season. It was an unreal season for the junior.
