Nick Winter Deals Milwaukee Lutheran Into Title Game

GRAND CHUTE, Wis.--In the Division 2 semifinals, a historic outing by Milwaukee Lutheran’s Nick Winter got them a chance to repeat as state champions. They defeated Lodi 4-1.
Milwaukee Lutheran came out with hot bats in the first inning, scoring 3 runs right away off RBIs by Winter, TD Walker and James Wright.
Lodi would get a run back on a double by Garret Wegner.
Nick Winter settled in after that, allowing only one hit and no runs. His final line score was three hits, one earned run on two walks and an impressive 15 strikeouts for the senior.
Milwaukee Lutheran advances to another state title game and will face Waupaca for the championship.
