River Falls Pounds Milwaukee Reagan in Quarterfinals

River Falls advanced to the state semifinals after defeating Milwaukee Reagan 10-0 in 5 innings in the quarterfinals.
River Falls had the bats going early as they started the game with a weak single and two bunts that turned into hits. Joe Halling gave the Wildcats the lead with a 2 RBI single to left field.
The Wildcats would add on another run in the second, with a safety squeeze RBI from Brain Grove.
River Falls tallied two more runs in the third inning on two wild pitches as Reagan pitcher Alec Marsh pitched 2 and 2/3 innings, giving up 7 hits on 5 earned runs and 2 walks with 1 strikeout.
The bleeding continued for Reagan as Brian Grove hit an inside the park homerun to extend the lead in the fourth to 6-0.
River Falls extended the lead to 10 in the fifth inning as James Witt helped his own cause on a RBI single and a Brain Grove 2 RBI Single.
James Witt pitched a gem for River Falls as he threw a five-inning shutout on 2 hits and had seven strikeouts.
Milwaukee could only muster out two hits as they get eliminated.
River Falls advances to play Kimberly tonight at 6pm at Neuroscience Group Field.
