Rawlings Hitters Midwest Showcase Rapidly Approaching

The Rawlings Hitters will be hosting their Midwest Showcase on August 3-4 at Nash Park in Kenosha. The showcase is open to all high school players (Classes of 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019) and will attended by several college coaches.

The event is a great way to make a name for yourself in front of colleges looking for players just like you. The first day of the showcase will consist of pro-style workouts and batting practice games. The workouts include radar gun evaluations, timed 60 yard dashes, and written evaluations of your performance. The batting practice sessions will give you a chance to fine tune your swing and have fun at the same time. The second day will consist entirely of real live game action from 9 AM-5 PM, where you can show off your stuff in front of the college coaches.

In the past, Hitters camps have been attended by college coaches from Michigan, Louisville, Indiana, Illinois, Oklahoma, Iowa, Boston College, St. Louis, Bradley, UW-Milwaukee, and Cincinnati. Over 20 coaches will be at the showcase this year.

Not only will you have a chance to showcase your skills in front of several college coaches, but you’ll also be competing at a high-level with other talented players from around the state. What better way to improve yourself than by competing with the best?

You can also use the results from your performance in the workouts and written evaluations to see where you can strengthen your game and get to the next level.

In addition, players will receive a camp t-shirt for participating.

The cost of the camp is $300. You’re encouraged to sign up as soon as possible to book your place in the showcase. This is a camp that you won’t want to miss! For more information and to register, go to www.hittersbaseball.org.
